Target: This project includes a soilless strawberry greenhouse project on an area of 25,000 m² in Ferizli district of Sakarya. It is aimed to increase strawberry production by using modern agricultural techniques and to encourage sustainable agricultural practices in accordance with Sakarya's climatic conditions.
Vision: Sakarya/Ferizli Soilless Strawberry Greenhouse Project aims to provide healthy and quality products to local consumers by increasing strawberry production, taking into account the climate and geographical characteristics of the region. At the same time, it aims to provide training to farmers with modern agricultural techniques and contribute to the local economy.
Sakarya Climate and Strawberry Characteristics:
- 1. Climate: Sakarya is under the influence of the Black Sea climate and generally has temperate climate characteristics. Summers are hot and humid, winters are mild. This provides a suitable environment for growing strawberries.
- 2. Strawberry Growing Conditions: Strawberry loves temperate climate conditions and prefers sunny days. Soilless farming has improved the quality of strawberries by increasing their direct access to nutrients.
Greenhouse Features and Amortization:
-
1. Special Insulation: The greenhouse contains special insulation materials to optimize the internal climate, regardless of external climate conditions.
- 2. Automatic Control Systems: Modern control systems that automatically manage processes such as climate control, irrigation and fertilization are integrated.
- 3. Sustainable Water Use: Sustainable irrigation methods such as drip irrigation and recycled water systems are applied.
Production Quality and Increase:
-
1. Optimal Irrigation and Nutrition: Optimal irrigation and nutrition are provided to strawberry plants with hydroponic or aeroponic systems.
- 2. Disease Control: Disease control is ensured by maintaining hygienic conditions in the greenhouse and modern agricultural techniques.
